In 2016 I collaborated with Haohaus and Hotel Discover (now called Mega Hotel 鉅陞嘉義亮點旅店) to create a few drawings. These would be included in an exhibition in Chiayi’s new arts park and they’d also decorate the new hotel.

It was my first time visiting Chiayi and I went back and forth many times over that year. It’s a quieter city with a lot of pretty lanes and beautiful parks. I was also given permission to explore an impressive abandoned tobacco factory, which is where the top image is from.

They wanted something from each of the series I was creating at the time, so I created a map, an insect, and a few towers. Click on the images below for more details
