台北小籠包 Taipei Xiaolongbaos
夏日炎炎，身處台北盆地的我們像一顆顆小籠包一樣的被蒸煮著。
我朋友芮妮跟我說群山環繞的台北像極了一籠蒸籠，溼熱的空氣都被鎖在這盆地之中。這把我逗樂了，於是我以此為創作靈感，化為草稿，同時藉機享受更多小籠包，
Summer in the Taipei Basin! We are all little xialongbaos being steamed! My friend Renee said Taipei is like a dumpling steamer as the mountains around the basin trap in the heat and humidity. This amused me so I turned it into a sketch. It also gave me an excuse to eat more xiaolongbao.
你覺得每一顆小籠包分別是甚麼口味呢? 我想大安是富商豪紳聚居之地，所以是宴席才有的鮑魚、燕窩口味。
既然總統府在中正區，而總統的名字聽請來像是英文菜，不如以英國常見的包心菜、花椰菜以及洋蔥等，好吧我承認這有點傻
What flavor do you think each dumpling is? I figured since Da’an has a lot of old money it'll be posh banquet foods like abalone or bird's nest soup. Maybe since Zhongzheng has the President, and Tsai Ying Wen's name sounds a bit like English Vegetables, the Zhongzheng Bao will be lots of English veg like cabbage, cauliflower, onions etc. Ok, this one is a bit stupid.
